During the summer, many students, especially struggling readers, slip out of practice and lose a significant amount of information learned throughout the previous school year. This is known as the summer slide.
We take a holistic approach to reading. Our summer reading program focuses on building phonemic awareness, phonics, visualization, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and critical thinking skills.

We are offering ONLINE as well as IN-PERSON learning instructions geared toward the learner’s individual needs. This includes one remediation therapy package once per week, which will contain a progress report including learner’s strengths and weaknesses.
